Following the success of the event, Jacob Liddle, the owner of the company, offered his views on the competition.

He had been home brewing for years in north London prior to launching Jiddler's Tipple in October 2019. His aim was to: "Create perfectly balanced, delicious, session-strength craft beer.”

Since launching the brand, Jacob has been working with By The Horns, a brewery in south London, to help scale up his home-based operation to produce eco-friendly, gluten-free beers.

The branding of Jiddler’s Tipple was designed to be accessible and inclusive, with the beer cans incorporating vintage shirt patterns, all hand-picked by Jacob.

Jacob was very much aware of the 2024 competition, having entered in previous years, with the objective of raising the profile of his business and endorsing the quality of his beers.

The impact on winning the award has earned Jacob’s business peer recognition and has helped to raise the profile of his products.

His overall impression of the competition was very positive, stating that it was “very good” and that he would definitely enter the competition again.

Jacob was impressed with the “high quality judges” and “good feedback”, and that the award is internationally recognised.

Looking to the future, Jacob is keen to promote his company, increase sales and win over more customers.
