Jonny specialises as a beer educator with BPET (Beer Professional Education & Training) and beer events and hosts numerous beer events and dinners. Based in London, Jonny was the first Advanced Cicerone® in Europe, is a Beer Academy® Beer Sommelier , International Beer Judge and a member of the British Guild of Beer Writers as well as founding The Guild of Beer Sommeliers. After starting a career in wine and beer in London, Jonny moved to Vancouver, Canada and became a Sommelier and WSET wine educator but embraced the growing world of craft beer. Having managed several specialist craft beer and wine stores and restaurants, including a dedicated craft beer bar and tasting room, Jonny moved into beer education, drawing on a wealth of experience to evangelise the importance of great knowledge and service across the craft beer industry
