Ordinary Bitter is a British style of pale ale that varies in colour from gold to dark amber, and in strength from 3% to 7% alcohol by volume. It is one of the most common beers in England. The color of Ordinary Bitter varies from gold to copper and chill haze is allowable when stored at cold temperatures. Fruity-esters and very low diacetyl flavors are acceptable but should be minimized in this form of Bitter.
