London Wine, Beer, and Spirits Competitions Launch Top 100 Lists

London Competitions are creating a benchmark for consumers that will help them make purchase decisions when looking to buy the top-performing beers, wines and spirits in their category.

The drinks industry is a large one, and being a part of it means you need to keep up with brands and companies, see what they’re doing, and where they stand. Not only as a drinks industry professional, but even as a consumer, it can get hard to find the perfect wine, beer, or spirits for yourself. Which is why Beverage Trade Network has taken a step ahead in the London Wine, Beer, and Spirits competitions, and launched the Top 100 lists.

What are the Top 100 lists?

The Top 100 wine, beer, and spirits lists are curated by the London Wine, Beer, and Spirits Competitions. All three Top 100 lists consist of the 100 best wines, beers, and spirits from the London Competitions. The London Competitions are a true benchmark for those of you looking to find wine, beer, and spirits of the best quality, price, along with some great looking bottles.

“By introducing a Top 100 for each of our three main London drinks competitions we are able to create a true benchmark for consumers that will help them make purchase decisions when looking to buy the top-performing beers, wines and spirits in their category,”  says Sid Patel, CEO and Founder of Beverage Trade Network that runs the London competitions.

By curating the Top 100 Lists, Beverage Trade Network has set the London Competitions apart from other international wine, beer, and spirits competitions. BTN asked over a hundred trade buyers about how they pick the wine, beer, or spirits for their portfolio, and it all boiled down to three main things - Quality, Value, and Packaging, and this is exactly how the London Competitions are judged.

Unlike other competitions that focus on only the quality of the product, the London Wine, Beer, and Spirits competition shines the spotlight on all three, Quality, Value, and Packaging - which is exactly how a consumer picks their wines, beers, and spirits.

The first Top 100s lists have been curated based on the results of the top-scoring wines, spirits and beers in the separate 2019 competitions.

All three Top 100 lists will be shared and promoted towards consumers and buyers, via BTN’s beaming social media platforms and magazines. The lists will also be included in specially produced Top 100 PDFs that will be distributed via WhatsApp and other messaging platforms.

The bottles in the Top 100 lists will also be showcased with a special feature at ProWein in 2021 and will  be supported with articles and promotions in leading drinks industry magazines such as:
