After water, beer is something that you can drink on any occasion, without worrying much about food pairing. You will find almost every beer style in the local stores around you. While there are too many styles to choose from, we would recommend going for American Ales this time. This medium-bodied beer is characterized by floral, fruity, and piney flavours, and filled with American hops. This is one of the most food-friendly beer styles that complements light fare such as salad and chicken, as well as stands up to the variety of cheeses, seafood, and even desserts.

So, no more wondering and wandering for beer! Here are the top 5 American Ales for the place of your next favourite bottle of beer.

  1. Truman’s Pale Ale

On our list of “Top 5 American Ales: Your Next Favourite Beer”, first is Truman’s Pale Ale. Truman’s Pale Ale is brewed with zesty hops from New Zealand at 4.1% alcohol by volume. Its biscuity malt base is perfectly balanced with fruity and aromatic flavours of lime zest. On the finish, this pale ale is crisp with a hint of grapefruit. The character and balance of the palate of this beer make it a nice food pairing beer.

About Truman’s Beer

Truman’s Beer is one of the greatest names in British brewing. It was established in 1666, closed in 1989, and re-established in 2010. For almost 350 years, Truman’s has been a part of London’s life. They craft an eclectic range of great beer in cask, keg, and can at their new brewery in Hackney Wick. They have a 40 barrel brewery which gives them a good balance between flexibility and efficiency. All of their beers are brewed in the signature Truman’s style: to be full of flavour and easily drinkable.
